Specifically, it's a Science Fiction tv show. I'm trying to figure out what it's called, but I haven't seen it in years. All I remember is one scene distinctly sticking in my head.
There is a starfighter pilot who talked like a redneck and had a penchant for eating pancakes. In the episode, a bunch of fighters are sent out to take on some alien enemy ship that's been killing a bunch of their squadrons. The redneck guy realizes he's going to die, and sadly laments never getting to eat his pancakes again before his ship explodes.
While the enemy ships were destroyed, when the squadron gets back, they all throw away their pancakes they got in the mess hall since they remind them too much of redneck fighter pilot.
Anyone got an idea what show this might be from?
