Long story short, I'm writing a book. I don't know if it will be published, I can only hope so. Without getting into details, I need some help. My character will be a James bond knock off- his code name is double I 1, or "i i one". I havent found a first or last name. I think he'll be British just for that good ol suave british guy feel, but other countries would be cool too. I'm toying around with him being black, even though it would have zero effect on the story. For his signature car I've chosen the Bentley Armand eith the curved top.
Things I need for him: country, agency he eorks for, classic drink, classic villain name, other awsome ideas! Thanks guys, have fun.

Oh man if you are thinking about spending hours of your life on this, don't. If you yourself admit it's a knock-off, maybe you should sit back and have a few original ideas first.

You should propably give a lot of thought on his background before becoming an agent. Surely enough an organization wouldn't hire just anyone. Perhaps a little S.A.S service, or a tour with the marines (although being british kinda affects that), or something. Or perhaps he is part of an company that trains it's own agents. A military background certainly would explain any firearms expertise the character may have.

Also, it might be cool to make him something unorthodox, like a common instructor before becoming an agent. As for the organization, perhaps some people working for the queen directly? Imagine that, good ol' Elizabeth giving the protagonist the orders.
