Help me my games not working

Um well i reasently brought overlord 2 on steam with that 75% off deal and heres how it crashes...

i load up the game and when i try to play the campain or online it starts to load up slow then it goes black and my computer restarts.I heard someone else got the same problem so if this has happened to u please say what u did or tell me how to fix.

Have you checked other forums?? the overlord 2 forums that might be helpful

EDIT: those 75% off deals are not to be trusted haha

Perhaps the official Overlord 2 forums might have tech support threads. Or maybe there were some files corrupt or incomplete in your download from steam. But definitely check around the official site for something. This is a good strategy for future problems you might have with games.

While that is fair enough you should be going to the Steam and Overlord forums to ask about this.

Most people on there will have a far better idea than any of us as this site has no link to either Steam or the game.

now I've been all been all over the forums about overlord and finally I resolved it myself by setting the compatibility to XP with the steam program itself C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam then set compatibility with steam.exe to windows xp sp3 and then all my games worked...I hoped this helped tell me if it didn't.
