this still isn't anything like what we see in the movies. It's projected into a screen, not the air. When i saw the title i was excited, now, not so much.

Same here. The technology is very exciting, but it doesn't justify the mind-blowing I got from the title of the article.

Do you mean the videogame episode of next generation?
The game that was almost inexplicably addictive?
The one that just had players messing with a ball in the middle of an empty void?
The one that seemed to give players an orgasm every 2 seconds? (which is the only explanation I have for its addictiveness)

THAT one?

If that's the case... I can't quite see the appeal.
Now, the holodecks on the other hand...
those would be awesome.
