Help me out guys

It's summer 2010 and I have a big decision to make:

Which one first? I have only completed 7 and 13 But i plan on replaying them all over this summer. P.s. I also have FF4 on the VC.

Tell me your favourite and why and I'll play that one first

X is my favorite FF by far followed by X-2, so I'd go with that.

Also, FFXIII was a bit lackluster. Sure it looked nice and had great characters and story, but the grinding. Oh the grinding....

Get a job. Because if you have enough time to play 8 Final Fantasy games, you have time to work.

Well my favorites 7, but in all honesty its the only one I have played.
I watched my brother play a large percent of 8 and It looked really enjoyable, so I would recomend that one.

I'd just go in order, but you should try to, you know... do something over the summer.

I liked 13, it was the only one besides 7 that I've played so don't really listen to me about it.
But if there is any sort of story connecting them besides forms of precipitation, then I suggest doing them in order.

I suggest IX...but I'm with the two earlier posters in saying go freaking do something. That many Final Fantasy games, and your head will explode with overdramatic and overlong dialog.

Hmm.. no one has mentioned 6, Anf final fantasy X seems to be the favourite so i might start with that, I don't know if i'll get through all of them this summer, which is why i need to pick the best one to start with.
