Hello fellow Escapists, I require your invaluable advices in how to make a talkshow.

Me and two friends have a school task due Thursday, and i personally have no idea how to make it work out.
I don't even watch talkshows!

Help me out please!

you get a charismatic and humorous host to interview several interesting and/or famous people between topical standup, a house band i considered a standard.

Ask questions! Ask one of your friends to dress up as someone famous, make them act stupid and ask them questions which will be well, answered!

Here are the basics:

1. Format: Are you and your friend going to debate (with the third man serving as moderator)? Is it comedy? Are you going to have a friend bring up issues and you give your opinion on them?

2. Mood: Serious? Light-Hearted? Dark Comedy? Acid Drenched Polemic?

3. Audience: What would your teacher like? Do you mind pissing off your teacher?

Make sure the host has great hair, a wig is optional.
Interview people that other people will recognize.
Try to be witty.
And above all, make sure there is much talking going on.

Depends on what kind of talkshow you're talking about here, give us details.
Is this a Jerry Springer style one? Or a topical pannel show?

These are all great advices, its just to bad that we don't have access to any material such as wigs for example.

And humor is great for attracting the attention of the audience, if it we're up to me we would be joking about news. This is not the cause.

Anyway, lets say its a humor-talkshow.
