me and my friend were talking about final fantasy and we didn't know when the first appearance of the summoner was. you know, like lady Yuna. any answers?

Well Yuna's first appearance was in FF10 I think.

EDIT: Snap, it was in number 3 first. I was so sure it wasn't

Yuna appeared in X as a summoner, in X-2 she traded it for a microphone.
(bad deal if you ask me right? I mean... A badass samurai thingamajig against a voice amplifier or guns?)


And the very first summoner class should be (as mentioned above) in III I believe.

i asked when summoners LIKE yuna appeared. i know they have different characters every final fantasy. and i played FF10 and that was why i could use her as an example. but thanks for trying those who didn't answer properly, the answer i was apparently looking for is ff 3.
