help me sleep

hello escapist it is 3 am where i am and i am really tired and ready to go to bed. one problem theres a bunch of student living next door trowing one hell of a loud party. i have asked them to keep it down twice now and am seriously considering going ape shit. so my question to you is how can i shut them up (unlikely) or drown out there noise with stuff i might find in the house i currently have my heavy metal blasting out of speakers which granted isn't helping me on the sleep front. any and all suggestions are appreciated please help me before i use my sword to go play decapitate the student or just set them on fire with some petrol i have from fuck only knows where =S.

OT: Grab the sword and just start ranting at random. That'll work I think. Students are wusses really, when faced with a screaming psycho who's waving a sword at them. Or try some earmuffs if you've got them.

Yeah, that's what I'd do and probably what would happen. You could go over there and slips a roofie in to every one of the drinks but that's time consuming, expensive and illegal. Maybe just take some sleeping pills?

i dont have any sleeping pills =( and as for the police it would take them ages to get here (altho the station in 5 fucking minutes away im sure they go for a sight seeing tour when ever there needed)also on reflection confronting them could end badly for me theres one of me about 20 of them im sober there drunk there about 18-25 yrs old im 16 they have broken beer bottles granted i have sword but still i don't like my odds. im sure they planned it for the night my parents are away aswell 0.o if they where here they would just phone the land lord sadly i have no clue what his number is =S thanks for help guys just so tired D=

Are sleeping pills easy to get? An ex of mine had trouble sleeping and so was prescribed pills, can they be bought over the counter? (in the U.K.)

In my experience, most students really do listen to your request/demand to pipe it down, as long as you give an excuse with enough gravitas. A test the next day might do it, but saying you have your brothers wedding the following morning, 300 kilometers away, will do it if it is going to work at all. Doesn't matter if the excuse is real or not; they are drunk and most likely unable to tell if you are lying or not. And by the next day comes, if they give you shit over it, tell them they really were apeshit loud and wouldn't pipe it down otherwise usually calms them down.

If this doesn't work, begin to rant and rave with something ominous (but not lethal as such) in your hand. A knife is straight out, they might contact the police for threatening them. But a lamp, some piece of metal, just hanging there in your arm as you tell them that they really are too loud and that if they noice doesn't cut down you, might just lose it soon.... Do this in a fidgety way, eyeing around as if hyperactive, hands shaking a bit, clearly clenched. And whenever you look at them, you make sure you look at them in the eyes and step right into their personal space. Make the notion of you being just about being ready to snap go through their hazy brains, establish yourself as the alpha-male during the situation and they will listen.

Hm, I think the best thing you can do is drown out the sound with something to muffle your hearing (you have any Sennheiser headphones or anything that cancels/blocks noise?) and try to get your head down. Make sure to go over in a day or two's time to state your case - doing it now will indeed just make you a target.

If it's the same building turn of their power, but if it isn't turn into Sam Fisher and turn of their power. Basically screw with them by making the party bad. Watering down the beer, shutting down their music, and destroying their energy source. If they're to heavenly armed for you to take down their house take out the power plant. ...or if you're boring and unexciting you can take down their power lines.
