Help me solve this mystery...

Alright, Escapist's, here's the low down: I now have COD: MW2's multiplayer in my games list on Steam, uninstalled, and just the multiplayer, i don't know how it got there, but it's there. I haven't gotten any pop ups from Steam saying "HEY CLICK HER FOR A FREE TRIAL OF MW2'S MULTIPLAYER, FO'SHIZZ", i haven't bought it, and i'm pretty sure it wasen't gifted to me.

I have no idea how i got this, and it's makeing me a tad bit uneasy, mainly since my computer, more or less, crashed, and now i suddenly have MW2's multiplayer.


So, S'capist's.

What do you reckon?


EDIT: Alright, apperantly it's a free weekend hand out, Mystery solved gang! Looks like it was old man Abernanthy all along!

I've got it too, it says it has 1.5 days left of gift, so presumably its an open weekend where we can play for free to test it out. I also have a R.U.S.E. beta with 1.6 days left, I've never even heard of that.

Interesting... i too have the R.U.S.E thing with 1.6 days. Although, i already installed the beta when it first came out, so i payed it no notice.

Free Multiplayer weekend dude, they do that with alot of games, they have done it with TF2 a couple times back as well.
