type [ spoiler ] whatever you want here [ /spoiler ] (minus the spaces)
If you want to have writing on it, you use [ spoiler = "Title of spoiler here" ]

I don't understand what you mean?
Quote someone who's done one. Or see here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/markup_help.php]. Or here [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/9.55865#410569]. And if you still don't get it, try this [http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.108989#1852534] page.

now how about images, how do I insert hem into the forums?
[im-g]imageurlhere[/im-g] minus the -

to get the image url you simply right click on a picture and select 'copy image url' at least thats how it works for me.

why is the image link broken
Because you didn't post an image. You pasted a google-images link between the [/img] tags. I fixed it for you though.

In Firefox when you right-click on an image you are given the option of "copying the image location". You can then paste that between the [/img] tags. I can't remember if there is anything similar in IE. If not, you can go into the webpage source and find the location there.
