help on two games?

ahh good to be back on the forums postin.

anyway where i live circut city is goin outa business and while i was down there i picked up BF2142 and World in conflict.

can anyone tell me how good/bad these games are and if people still play em online etc?

2142 perhaps was not as well received as BF2 but retains the basic neat factor of a battlefield game at least. Xfire stats rank it #29 (amount of activity, BF2 is #6) with about 4k people playing each day. But that's just for people who use Xfire.

World In Conflict I enjoyed muchly despite it not having bases. Early C&C games indoctrinated me into liking bases so WiC had that bias to overcome. I don't know about the online community for this one, Xfire ranks it #126 with about 800 people a day, again just Xfire users.
