Help Please! Does Gears 3 have splitscreen?!

Firstly, the game looks amazing! But my one question is this; does it still have splitscreen? The last 2 had splitscreen campaign and splitscreen online, but i've not heard much about it. I think it's been mentioned on a forum before but a definite answer would be nice, I can't bring myself to pre-order it without knowing

It's got two player split screen. The others had it, and it's be stupid to remove it from Gears 3.

Rumours are going around that it could have four player split screen but a search only brings up various forum posts saying it does with no evidence to back it up, as well as a few posts saying that it would suck with a screen split into four.
