Hey guys I know this isn't some sort of help forum but I can't be bothered to start an account on a website like yahoo answers or whirlpool.

Ok I recently changed ISPs from Bigpond to Internode. This morning I realised that for some reason my phone isn't working. I'd dial in a number and I could hear the phone dialing it but after that all I could hear was the "dead tone".

So did my phone plan also go down the drain when I changed my ADSL or is it something else?

Thanks to anyone that can help.

Ps: Sorry for the bad grammar I'm currently sorta panicking about this.

Pss: My phones a Telstra phone if that effects it in anyway.

Edit: I can't actually call my ISP cuz my homephone is the one that isn't working and I broke my mobile a couple of weeks back...

Rather than ask on the internet, I'd call them up (on a mobile or something) or email them directly about this.

I...uh...

I don't know anything on this topic, so I'll guess (from which bumps this thread.)

Is... uh... your internet wireless? Perhaps it's screwing with your cell in the house? does it work outside the house? Was your internet plan related to your phone plan, like rogers or some crap?

Whoops, by phone I thought you assumed cell phone, pardon my crazy. Still the last sentence is related to your issue.

Did you bundle your service with your ISP for phones as well? You may also try changing your phone to a different phone jack or test another phone.
