I'm looking to get a new video card for my computer since i can't really run any new games very well anymore such as Ark: Survival Evoled(this is the game i want to play now really) so i'm hoping someone here can help.
My computer specs:
OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit SP1
CPU: AMD FX-4100 Zambezi 32nm Technology
Ram: 8GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 669MHz
MotherBoard: Gigabyte Technology Co., Ltd. M68MT-S2(Socket M2)
Graphics: S200HL (1600,900 @60Hz), 1024MB ATI AMD Radeon HD 6670 (Gigabyte)
This is info i got from Speccy and i've been told that i probably need a new power supply but i dont know how to see what i have. My budget probably ranges around 200-250 dollars(for the video card alone, another budget for the power supply) but i'm also probably going to wait till black friday to see what i can grab, so multiple choices would be great as well. Thanks in advanced guys.

To find out the power supply, you'll have to open up the computer and actually look at the model number or find out if it tells you on it.

Or if you happen to know the model number of your computer (I'm guessing pre-built) you can probably figure it out from that.

That said, if you're looking for a new card at that price range then I'd also suggest maybe getting some better RAM too. You're better off with DDR3 1600 for gaming. You can get an 8GB kit on newegg for 47 dollars.

As for the card, I'd suggest an Nvidia 960 4gb edition. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814121928 something like this.

The power supply shouldn't need to be huge to accommodate that but you will likely need an upgrade since most pre-built units use bare minimum ones.

I personally usually go with Ennermax, and they have a variety of ranges depending on your budget. I haven't kept too up to date though, so someone else may have a better suggestion. Coolermaster is rather popular amongst some.

First you're going to want to calculate how much power you actually need. Something like this http://www.coolermaster.outervision.com/ will let you know what sort of PSU size you're aiming for.

Your biggest problem is that your cpu is not that powerful. The FX-4100 was a budget option when it was released 4 years ago and is only just above the minimum spec for Ark: Survival Evolved. You could spend money on a new GPU but you wont see that much benefit because your CPU cannot use the extra grunt of the GPU.

What would you recommend i get? if you can, multiple choices would be nice since i'm hoping to do this during cyber monday or something to try to get a discount on something(doubtful but ill try)

Try looking at http://www.logicalincrements.com/ . Unless you are planning to overclock always go with the stock cooler option.
