I've been trying to track down an old role-playing game for the Playstation 2 known as "The Legend of Alon D'ar." Apparently cheap, gotten some pretty bad reviews and stuff.
What I really need to know is if this game was ever released in Europe, under the PAL coding. I have seen the boxart for the PAL version online, but never actually seen a copy of it in any store, whether they be online in in real life.
A handful of websites have said that the game has, in fact, been released in the PAL format, but without 100% clear evidence, I can't really be sure.

So, does anybody know anything about it? Would be of great help if you could point out some info!

I have no idea.

If you did find one with the American encoding (N-something...) you could always buy a PS2 here and bring it over. (Most newer TVs can play both encodings, but the PS2s can't)

i think this scenario here is a good argument for piracy (not that i condone piracy). there might be a legal ;) download somewhere

Heck, why not? There are lots of other neat titles that haven't been released in Europe too! =)

You can get a ROM as long as you claim you are using it for coding testing :p
