Help With Buying A Game Gift

So I have a job and I have about $30 extra to spend. I wanted to use that to buy my girlfriend a gift on Steam, since she always buys me games. The problem is, if I just ask her, she will actively refuse to accept my gift. Refusing it at first is cute and all...but refusing it no matter what is very annoying to me. I'd rather skip all that garbage and just buy a game for her before she realizes it.

Anyway, since I can't ask her what she wants, I don't know what to get her. We've been dating over a year, but I know very little about her gaming habits. I know she has them, but she never actively expresses them like I do, or my friends do. I have a vague idea though from games I have heard her talk about and seen her play:

1. RPGs. Mostly more strategy based ones. She does not seem like the Final Fantasy type, and she's never played one.
2. MMOs. I really don't want to have to buy her one of these to be honest. Plus, she already had WoW, which she already plays almost all the time
3. Strategy games. Things like Age of Empires and Company of Heroes, as well as the Total War series.
4. Any damn game I usually ask her to. This one doesn't help me. She doesn't play most of the same types of games I do unless she does so with me. Things like Borderlands 2, F.E.A.R., 7 Days to Die, I pretty much had to ask her to buy all that, and she did but only because she'd be playing them with me.

She also has a few of the Assassin Creed games, and all the recent Batman games, but those are the only two action oriented series she plays.

So yeah...I tried looking for strategy games, but she seems to already have most of the ones I could buy her.
I looked in RPGs, but I have NO idea what's good and what isn't. The last RPG I bought from Steam was FF7, and I already said she isn't interested in those. I looked at things like Agarest, but that seems just a bit more male oriented and didn't seem to have many favorable reviews. I'm completely lost. This is the first time I've bought someone a gift in probably 5 years.

If people could give me suggestions that I could look at, I'd really appreciate it.

Receattear: an item shop's tale - It's a game where you have to manage an item shop, there're fighting segments where you conquer dungeon, find more items to sell... Super addicting and cute.
Dungeon of Dredmor - Great roguelike game, I play it all the time. It has RPG elements and tons of perks to play with.
Costume's Quest - One of DoubleFine's classic that no one seems to talk about. It's light-hearted with RPG elements.
Lara Croft and Guardian of light - Great co-op game, you can play together with her with this game.
Telltale's The walking dead/Fables - They have great stories and are easy to get into. They're some of the best point 'n click games I've played.
Age of Mythology - It's somewhat similar to Ages of Empire.
Magicka - Fun adventure games where you can create your own spell. Great coop to boot.
Saints Row 3/4 - Superb sandbox games. Silly and over-the-top. All of my female gamer friends love it.
Torchlight 2 - Good coop for you and your girl. It's addicting, similar to Borderlands. (except not shooter-y)
Skyrim - Who doesn't like Skyrim?!?
Surgeon Simulator - It's silly and great fun. I bought this for my friend, she loved it!
Ys Seven - Good action-oriented JRPG, not turn-based. She might like it.

Maybe something light-hearted:
Portal series
Bejeweled 3
Magical Drop
Terraria

Hmm.. for strategy RPGs, I would say Banner Sage or Blackguards. Dragon Age is another possibility since the PC version has a more strategic battle system. Or maybe even Shadowrun Returns or X-Com if she's into more sci-fi than fantasy.

On the light hearted side of things, Saints Row 4 and Lego Marvel Super Heroes are both on sale right now and are excellent. Also, Trine 2 is very cool and offers a brilliant and beautiful mix of puzzle and platforming. All 3 of these are multiplayer as well so you can play together even if all are fun on their own as well.
