Help with cell phone spam

For the past couple hours, my cell phone has been spammed with the same two text messages (below), and I have no idea what do do about it. I don't recognize the number the messages are coming from, and they are literally making it impossible to do anything with my phone. If any of you have any idea what I can do to either A)stop the messages or B)block them, I'd appreciate it.

Anyway, the messages are "Hihihihihi" and "ASPARAGUSASPARAGUS", both repeated ad nauseum.

Or you could just scream extremely loud and high pitched (or find anoterh way to make unpleasant noises) right when they start talking. Maybe you'll hurt their ears.

Have you tried reasoning with it? Try asking it what IT wants for a change. Maybe it's just a little stressed. Have you tried singing to it?

Switch it off!

That was the first thing I did. The problem is, if I want to call someone, I can't until this stops. I've been checking periodically, and it's still going.

You can call customer service in whatever company you have, tell them to fuck off and switch ask them to block the sender

The point is, you're telling him to post the number on 4chan (presumably /b/, as other boards would do very little about it). My point is he would likely be told "Not your personal army", so there is bugger all point in posting the number there. In fact, if it goes particularly wrong then someone might contact the guy who's doing the spamming, ask for the OP's number and then join the spamming.

Do you have a place near you where you get no signal at all?
If so, go there and try to block the messages. If you can't figure out how, then write the number down, delete all the messages, and then try contacting your provider. They should be able to help you...right?

I wouldn't call them stupid, the hacking skills of some of them on there are actually......VERY impressive - But yes 4chan would make this spammer really wish they hadn't started this.
