Hello!
So yeah, I've been thinking lately that it may be time to upgrade considering I got a copy of Bad Company 2 and found it worked best at low to mid specs. I'd love to get it up to high specs and keep my PC that way for a good while.
Thing is, I don't really understand what to look for when it comes to graphics cards or indeed, other components. I'm not incapable of installing these things or understanding most bits. I just got my first bench test ever and not a lot of it makes sense.
I mean a while ago I got a Geforce 9500GT 1gb and it worked relativley well.
But all the little numbers that are attached to to card make little sense to me. For what it's worth, I know PCIex is the new standard and that's what I have. But should I be more concerned about paying attention to those little numbers than the big fat "1GB"?
I'd like to be able to run high spec games for at least a few months. Any advice out there?
