Model: Acer Aspire X1920
Processor: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5800 @ 3.20Ghz 3.20Ghz
RAM: 4GB
OS: Windows 7 64-Bit
Memory: 1TB
Display/Graphics: Intel(R) G41 Express Chipset

I'm planning on buying a new graphics card and I was pointed towards this one (http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102958) but I wanted to know if there's anything else that may be detrimental to my computer. The main games I play are L4D2 (Which I can't really play ATM), Minecraft, Civ 5, and some FPS games. I currently cannot run L4D2 unless I re-install it every time I restart my computer, and get some lagg on Minecraft and Civ 5. I've also wanted to play Amnesia for a long time but it never starts correctly on my computer.

Essentially I'm looking to know if the graphics card I'm looking to buy will fix my problems, and if no, what else may?

Captcha: ball of confusion
It doesn't even know the half of it.

What kind of power supply do you have? Since this is a prebuilt with integrated graphics, there's a good chance that your power supply might not be able to deliver enough juice to power a decent video card. Open up your case and post the details on the PSU label, brand, watts, how many amps on +12V rail. Knowing your screen resolution and budget would also help.

I have no idea what any of that means..

But I do know that my brand is Acer, my screen resolution is 1366 x 768, and budget isn't a problem. :)

Okay, I looked up your computer, you have a 220 Watt power supply, that is not enough to power the graphics card you linked to. It also looks like you have a slimline case, so upgrading your power supply isn't going to be easy, most power supplies won't fit into a slimline case.

To power the card you are looking at, you will need at least a 300 Watt power supply that is available in the MicroATX form factor. The video card you pick also has to be low profile, but you seem to know that, as the 6670 you picked is a low profile card.

If you don't want to upgrade your PSU, the best card I can recommend for you would be a low profile Radeon HD 6450. It is better than your integrated graphics, but it really isn't meant for gaming, it's the weakest video card that is currently in production, and is meant more for basic display and video playback.
