Okay, since I'm going to be using it to play TES: Arena and TES: Daggerfall, so I figure this is the right part of the forum.

Anyway, I need to firgure out how to make a game work on DOSBox, but I don't know the first thing about it, and anything I find, I can't understand. Specifically, I'm trying to mount a drive so I can open Arena and Daggerfall from there (like I assume I should be able to).

Any help?

There is a nice quickstart guide on DosBox's website that will walk you through the basics and also has some links to other resources if you want to do anything more complicated.

http://www.dosbox.com/DOSBoxManual.html

hope this helps.

I don't remember too well but TES: Arena wasn't hard to run I think I just dragged the install file into the DOSBox icon and after that just dragged the file that executes the game and dragged into the DOSBox icon and I think that's how I made it work, if it's laggy when it starts I think you just have to press CTRL+F12 until it runs properly, as for Daggerfall I never made managed to make it work right, never figured out how to make the mouse work.

For Daggerfall, there's an installer on the UESP wiki that sets up the game for dosbox automatically and has all the necessary patches included, so get that. Link. [http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Files]
EDIT: Looks like there's one for arena too. [http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Arena:Files]

For dosbox in general, check the manual. It has a good quickstart guide.
