Hey, Im not sure this is the right place to ask but I cant find the answer anywhere. I just got Dragon Age and out it in my PS3, but when it starts up it doesnt use fullscreen mode on my TV. As soon as I exit the game mt PS3 uses fullscreen again, but when Im playing everything has black lines down the sides of it, including the PS3 menu. This is the only game that it is happening with and Im wondering if anyone knows how to fix it.

Try changing the screen and resolution options if there are any (I don't own a PS3 so I'm, guessing here).

Yes I did that, and it works with every single game I own, except for Dragon Age. Thats the whole problem.

do you have a widescreen tv?

maybe DAO doesn't support widescreen, hence you're getting letterboxes (similar to what normal TV people have to deal with on the top and bottoms of their screen when they watch wide screen movies)

Sell it back to the gamestore and buy it on Steam.

Seriously, Dragon Age console is awful. It is a PC game and needs to be played that way.

That was bordering on a platform flame...

I had a great time with it on the 360.

The interface wasn't perfect but hell, it's still great.

It's an excellent game on all platforms not just the PC...

If you're going to do that just buy a boxed PC version from a store. The game doesn't have DRM so there's no reason to voluntarily add the Steam version of it.

It makes you log into EA's site in order to buy/activate any downloads, so it has it's own form of DRM that is equally annoying. Steam is the minimalist side.

LOL, saying a PC game is a PC game isn't a platform flame. I wouldn't play Starcraft on a console even if they made it for it, and yes, I've tried real RTS and other strategy games on consoles and it was just completely untenable. Dragon Age is best played on a PC, just like Mass Effect seems to play better for me on the Xbox.
