During this recent Halloween Steam sale I bought the 75% off Overlord set. Upon looking at the set up and playing a bit, it feels to me this was made for a game pad. 360 controller to be specific as that is what they showed in the setup picture. And while my 360 has be borked for a while now, the controller should still work fine, and the cord attachment I got fit's into USB ports.

So I plugged it in and my computer recognized it and got some run software for it. But in the game (any game for that matter) it does nothing. Upon going into my control panel and checking the driver out it says it works fine.

Anyone who may know any tips to get it to work. Or have dealt with a similar problem. Any help is appreciated.

Get Xpadder.

Then you can just sort out everything for each game there instead of setting it up for every game you're using a pad for, also you can then use your controller as a remote control for movies or use it for flash games.

You'll need a wireless receiver for a wireless controller. If it's a wired controller then it should work without Xpadder.

If its a wireless controller you need a wireless adapter for it to work. You could either get that or get a wired controller, which will also work.

Check the MS website to see if there's any drivers you need to download for it.
