So basically while browsing a collectibles show today, I happened upon a used copy Another Century's Episode 3 for a very reasonable price and decided to go for it. Problem is of course, I don't have a Japanese PS2.
I've been looking at various ways to go about doing so, but they all seem to involve removing some part of my PS2, either the front of the disc loading tray or the entire case (which I really don't want to do), OR creating a backup of the disc and putting that onto a DVD (but I bought the disc and I want to use that, gosh darn it).
The most enticing option is using an Action Replay, which I know can be used to bypass DVD region locks for movies, and some people are saying it can do the same for games, but those people seem to be in the minority.
So anyone with any experience with this sort of thing and can offer any suggestions?
