Help with Magicka

Today, when I went to play Magicka, a message came up saying that I was running a modified version, and that I need to validate the game cache using the steam client, only thing is, I'm not exactly sure of how to do that, any help with this would be appreciated.

Ahh! Ok, first go to your gaming library and find Magicka. Right click it, and hit properties. A window will come up with 3 separate tabs. Select the last one that says local files. From there, use 'verify integrity of game cache'. Steam will check all the files & replace/fix any that don't work, and that should hopefully fix your problem!

That may not work. Looking around google I found someone saying that it's a bug in the patch and it's looking for files from the upcoming Vietnam DLC, something only those with the beta has, and if it doesn't find those files it puts a 'modified' tag on the game.
