Actually, most games don't work on Macs because the developer's don't make the games for it. Macs are in no way inherently inferior to Windows machines.

Yeah, I believe so, at least on Macbooks. Maybe even on iMacs. If you want a powerful gaming Mac, you would get a Mac Pro: those things are beast. But I have a Macbook (what is now known as a Macbook Pro, just without an SD Card slot and firewire port), and I can run stuff decently well. I won't be playing Crysis at full capacity anytime soon, but I can run most modern games pretty well.

But admittedly, Macs aren't really designed with gaming in mind: but nothing can beat them for media work (Final Cut Pro for the win). I love them for everything else: the operating system especially is much better than any experience I've had with Windows. They're overpriced, true, but worth every penny in my opinion.

oh for media work, Macs are superb. As for the OS, i think its alright, its better than Vista but i prefer Windows 7. I would say my fav OS is linux but i find it hard to get things like drivers to work and lets be honest, Linux is less gamer friendly than Mac.

I don't mind macs for their productivity software, i hate the iPhone because i prefer to get a phone that works out the box rather than getting an app for that. Plus i hate how people think its the only phone you can put software on, any Android/WMM/SymbianOS phone can have apps added.

I agree the iPhone isn't the only one of its kind, but it is an amazing little machine. I freaking want one, but a poor, unemployed college student that can barely afford tuition can hardly afford the iPhone's service plan. Though an iPod Touch would be nice...

And if you're used to Windows, I would expect you to prefer 7. I mean it makes sense. It's basically XP, plus everything people said to fix about Vista, plus a bunch of stuff Mac OSX has had for near a decade. So it's probably the best Windows OS yet.

It is a good OS, but it was definitely not Windows' idea.

I do agree some features of both Vista and 7 are clearly takes on Mac. Though some stuff is new and Mac has taken some features from Windows in the past(though not as much, i'll give Apple credit, they do prefer their ideas to other peoples
