Help with posting functions

Does anyone know if there is a how-to around here about how to post videos and pictures, use different font size, italicize, and other such functions on the forums here? If not, could you guys show me, and others like me, how it's done?

It's just that when debating it can be hard to express my opinion in detail without creating a TLDR wall-of-text and so I want to learn how to post videos and images, and if I can post things from my hard drive or if I can only post embedded links. It would also be worth my time to learn those other things as well.
