Help with PS3 please

ok, so I got my PS3 the christmas before last, when it was IMPOSSIBLE to get the backwards compatible here in the UK for a decent price, so I have a question.

Is there anyway I can upgrade my PS3 to play PS2 games, like an add-on or something, or should I just buy a PS2 and tape it to my PS3(for quiet a reasonable price of 34 pounds I should add)

It's not possible to make it backwards compatible, so you should go with the seccond option.

I got a PS2 with two games for 40 quid. Those games were Half Life and Prince of Persia: Sands of Time.

You cannot beat that for awesome value.

Being honest, I'd rather the second option than a backwards compatible PS3. Nothing is better than the native console at playing a game, in my opinion.

Getting a PS2 would be your best option.
Although, you don't have to tape it to your PS3...
