Help with Steam games.

I've never had trouble with steam games until now. Recently, I bought Magicka and Monday Night combat. However, after they finished downloading and installing on my computer, whenever I go to start them, the loading lasts for 2 seconds or less and then game doesn't start, followed by a message saying the game is not responding.

I'd really appreciate some help on this.

Sometimes, I've found that the install steam tries to run as the 'initial' install doesn't work right. Open up the game folder and look for a folder which is called 'redist'. (usually, i know Magicka doesn't have a folder named that, but they do have a folder with install stuff. You'll know you're in it when you see a DirectX folder) Run all of the .exe files in that folder, and in the subfolders (i know that DirectX folders typically have a file in them called directxsetup, or something like that) If that fails, Steam forums are the way to go.
