Help with steam

so i dont know if you've read that other thread about my virus troubles but those are sort of solved

the problem is that when i used my norton to clear everything, i also made a new account on my pc to start fresh, the problem is now that when i try to open steam it asks what i want to open the progrram with notepad, internet explorer, or firefox

now this happens with every program i have except norton, i was thinking that this was just a shortcut error, so i went to the program files to remake the shortcut, when the steam in the program files was only a shortcut and the whole steam folder is 2.4 kbs i know that this is wrong

Re-install Steam. There's not a whole lot more advice to give other than that.

Oh, and I don't recommend Norton. It's expensive, difficult to work with, and tends to have unfortunate side effects. A bit like uninstalling Steam without warning.
