Help With UDK

So I downloaded the UDK today after watching the Escapist Presents video, would have gotten it long ago... if I knew it were free.

Anyway, I got started with some tutorials... but not long before I started I realized there was a problem. My screen didn't look quite like the tutorials.

I had this weird reddish outline thing which I believe has something to do with lighting.

At this point it's not too bad but...

It get's worse when a light is added, although...

It's EVEN worse when you play the level because the same visual glitch happens to everything, and if I change the material then....

JESUS CHRIST IT'S HIDEOUS!!!!!!

So if anyone knows how to help out then that'd be great, it's kinda annoying to deal with.

It looks like it's something to do with the bump-mapping. Does it happen if the texture has no bump-map?

It's not bump-mapping, I tried a non-bump material and it had the same result.

Guess I'll just have to goto the unreal forums for this.

I have an HD 4870, got it about a year ago.

As for updating my drivers... I can't.
Every time I try the installation program crashes, have never been able to install a driver since I got this card... it sucks ass.

Then the card may be damaged or something. I can only suggest:

a. Reinstalling windows with new drivers.
b. Contacting someone at ATI.

Also, do games that run on the Unreal engine work properly? If not then that implies some issue with the Developer's Kit.
