Help with WoW needed badly

Okay, I just downloaded the new Ulduar Patch and now I can't acess my server. I'm on Karazhan and I can't find it on the realm list. Not only that, but some of the other servers are showing up as "locked" and "Offline". Anybody got a solution?

Note:
Yes I am fairly new to WoW. But the fact that servers having big red words and saying "LOCKED" and others saying "OFFLINE" stikes me as odd. Also I couldn't find Karazhan. Anywhere.

UPDATE:
Okay servers are back up. In the meantime I watched Futurama and had some Lemonade whilst discussing Moral Fiber Issues with my Cat. Sorry for wasting everyone's time.

Wait for them to bring the servers back online. I heard they were down well into the evening yesterday from the patch.

I am afraid to get on and see how bad they nerfed my Death Knight. Guess it will be time to go back to the rogue.

Wow you must be new. Servers always have a hard time when patches come out, it may be simply because so many people log on at once, or it could be as simple as blizzard likes to release things before they have them polished completely. Just give it time.

Well I guess I could do with some Ice-cream, sadly my Mother and Brother have gone shoe shopping and my father is at work, and my friends are at a football match for their local team. Sometimes life sucks.

The servers are down for their weekly maintenance, this happens every wednesday. Unfortunately because of the patch its taking longer than usual.

Well that seems like a reasonable explanation. I guess I will have to eat Ice cream until that time.
