Sounds kinda shady and I've never heard of such a site. Does it require an actual purchase of the game?

It's onlive, but I don't think it's that simple, think it requires the purchase of some special little modem like box or something. but yeah. Onlive.

Also, your topic title was greatly informative.

If it is Onlive it is legit, the site is http://www.onlive.com/, I have seen their previews before in GT forums not so long ago... However I am not convinced since you technically need to pay a fee, that overtime migth be higher than upgrading a PC, and you don't own the games. And of course a really good Internet connection is a must.

And as above poster said, you need that modem like box

I don't think it would be very good. Take the following as an example:

Go to this URL (just an example): http://www.gametrailers.com/video/gc-10-deus-ex/702812

Make sure you're on the HD version, then play the video without waiting for it to buffer.

If the video plays all the way through without stopping to buffer once, then congratulations, you can use OnLive at the resolution you just watched that video in! Did you notice how the compression made the video look pixelated and poorly detailed? That's how you'd be playing your games.

Broadband technology just isn't fast enough to send HD video through the internet in real-time yet.

It's 'Onlive'. Streams your input to the servers, and streams the video back.

Clean up your damn post. Your capitalisation and mechanics are awful.

Sounds pretty ilegal, You know they do sell games in stores, then you can play the games with the graphics all you want.

How about you go buy games like everyone else?
He might not have the hardware, which is the problem cloud computing is aiming to get rid of.

I have an idea, how about you GOOGLE this before you posted it. Is it hard to type your question in a search bar?

Wait, what?

There's a website that lets you play good games on shitty computers?

WHERE!?!? I MUST KNOW!
