My ex has got a crazy idea that I'm saying stuff behind her back and she's sent me texts like "If you don't pick up in ten minutes, I'll give you a black eye when we get to school" and " I know where you live don't forget that. I wouldn't mess about. You know i keep my word" and she's even got her dad to text me, saying " she's ill. whatever you're saying, stops now", even though I haven't had any contact with her, or even mentioned her, since we split up. So I'm pretty scared and she's trying to convince me I'm the bad guy. What do I do?

Dont see her again, dont help at all, stay away, dont even look at her, block her from your handy, from facebook or whatever. Scratch her from your RL.
Keep the texts, in case she actually does assault you or it becomes bad enough that you can sue for harassment. It'll make a good case.

I would go to your guidance counsler or principle and show them the text messages right away. Those kinds of messages are enough to show an intent to harm, and should be treated as very serous. Schools take threats of physical violence very seriously, and you might actually be in danger of being physically assaulted. You are dealing with an irrational and angry person right now, so please don't attempt to be reasonable with her, because that simply won't work. I wish you the best of luck.
