Hey i'll start by saying i just got xbox live, but i have some issues with it.

1. I don't know where the redeem code thing is for free inclusives from games, such as the Gears 2 flashback map pack any help would be appreciated I am so lost
2. No friends: Unfortuantly living in a small rural community no one but me has Live and i would really appreciate some serious mature gamers to game and chat with so PM your ID's if you would like me on your friends list

1. The NXE can be confusing. I just press the guide button (The button in the middle of the controller) and there should be an option to redeem code option on one of the sliders.

2. Sure. Right now my 360 is acting up, so I won't be on a lot, but we can play. Just keep swearing down, mm'kay?

Once you've connected to Live, got the new Xbox dashboard and exerything, I think you can get to the page to enter codes for map packs etc. from the Xbox guide (big "X" button in the middle of your controller, but you already knew that, didn't you?) I think it's in the leftmost blade, titled "Redeem Code" or something of the like.

I'd check it out to confirm, but mine just RROD'd :'(

Yeah, I know. I got Bioshock only an hour beforehand as well.

But I got other cool stuff, so it ain't so bad.
