When I first played I didn't know /muteall exists. A few games in and I found out and started using it before every game no matter what. They probably just figured they'd call a lane and because I muted them I was ignoring them.
Well I mean it's considered a bit rude in this game to just pick a lane without saying anything or "instalocking". If you absolutely say nothing all game or even pre game that is reportable by "Failure to communicate". It's fine to ignore people that are being asshats, the tribunal will show chat logs and if you aren't being toxic you'll never be banned. But if you just mute all because you don't want to speak at all... well it's a team game. Most people are civil and you have to play along
Like I said, from my experience people just want to treat me like shit in online. So to prevent any attacks towards me, I just /muteall. Besides, if my other teammates are gonna all occupy a lane and make it so I can't join in and just sit at the base, then it's not really a team is it?
You're pretty much saying that you refuse to communicate because they may potentially be toxic and then you occupy lanes that you may not be designated to. The game has a meta, you don't HAVE to follow it but it's pretty set in stone and if you purposely ignore it and ruin other people's games why would they be happy about it?
The game doesn't revolve around you nor is the community there to cater to your needs. Like I said, it's a team game. Either play along and mute the trolls or just stick to single player. Nothing wrong with that but coming into every LoL thread to spew hate because you can't yolo your way through games without upsetting people gets old.
