Heroics in games.

Yeah, the name says it all I hope but basically, can you think of any times in games (online or off) where you have saved someone from certain death. Preferably in a cool fashion.

God of War - saving the oracle

Seemed epic at the time.

Serious Sam the first encounter.

I saved the human race in true style, by killing millions of aliens.

saved a few people in fallout 3 from raiders, animals, the like

Carlos from Saints Row 2, even though you had to mercy kill him, I still felt like a hero for giving him that merciful death.

Probably a few of the moments in Half Life 2, 2:1 and 2:2.

Not so much heroic as it was comical:

My friend was messing around in the Half Life 2 campaign. There was a combine soldier standing against a wall, and my friend was trying to shoot him with the crossbow. Although, at every single shot for about 10 shots, an antlion jumped in front of the combine, saving him from getting pinned against the wall. My friend got fed up and just killed the combine with a grenade.

Assassin's Creed when you can save civilians.

Fallout 3 when you can save slaves and people Super Mutants have captured.

Other than that nothing. I'm a strictly single player gamer
