Just a random thought I had. If a person was to randomly start flying (perhaps sprouting wings for added effect), how do you think authorities would react. Do you think they would attempt to arrest the individual or just let them be. I would imagine national security would be all up in the matter but under what charges can they justify making an arrest, or in the worst case scenario, shooting the person down?

I also had a similar thought regarding a person who went around bringing the recently deceased back to life. Would this be an arrestable crime, considering they weren't buried yet, perhaps doing it in a hospital?

So, do you think the authorities would get involved and these people would be arrested?

I think most people would be cynical enough to think it is just some kind of stunt - cables, magnets etc.

After they confirmed it wasn't a hoax I would suspect they would probably try to arrest the person to find out how he managed to grow wings and fly in the first place.

Maybe be able to charge him with violating their air space and flying without a License just to bring him down then run tests to incorporate it into their society for profit. Find out and sell to the masses, or in some cases military (Like Iron man 2 for example).

As for the bought back to life technically isn't thatt just going to be resuscitation.

I'm guessing a special warrant for his arrest would be made, it wouldn't have to be on normal charges.

OT: Personally I think that if the individual in question didn't become a media sensation pretty fast, the government would have locked down his/her life and blackmailed him/her into surrendering by holding his/her family hostage.

The media would be all over it like cheap cologne on a used car salesman and you'd be a media superstar. Chances are the government wouldn't touch you. Of course everyone would be curious, then good old-fashioned human jealousy and greed would kick in and you'd find your DNA being analysed, commercialised and sold so others could fly and you'd get none of the royalties.

... you don't need governments to be evil for you, we do just fine all on our own.
