Looks like nuaghty dog just ripped of halo 3.

Except that both Star Wars: Empire at War and Command & Conquer 3 both had the same thing before Halo 3 did. I'm sure there were other games than those that featured a similar system too.

now that is just funny,kind of.

OT: so it's like halo,but with picture taking from what I've seen in replys,sounds like bird watching with people instead of birds...that sounds kinda cool

I absolutely love theater modes in games, so that I can go back and preserve all the crazy shit I get up to. A shame that the Xbox 360 version of GTA IV didn't have the PC version's video recording mode. I hope more games have this sort of thing in the future.
