This black bit is because the monitors are different sizes, the widescreen one is for open apps/games and the others for clutter/messaging.

This is going to show up tiny as my printscreen is messing up and I had to resort to photoshop, thus the lack of icons on the middle screen. I've got a 3 screen setup that's a joy to use, you really don't know how little a jump from 17 to 20 inches gets you until you slap on a second screen and after that it becomes an addiction.

Left is from Planetside, middle is a broken down building with photo filters applied, and the right is Touhou/GitS. I rotate them around about once every 6 months or so as I have a stupid number of pictures and it sucks up several hours.
