These guys I came across on Xbox live have been scamming people for MS points and one of my friends lost a lot of money he couldn't afford. I really want to tell microsoft but I don't know the phone number or were to go on there site. Can anyone help me? I have thier tags and a message from on of them telling me I'm next. If anyone can help me send me the phone number or web page that would help because I can't find it. (They have spent about 500 dollars on my friends acount and he is in big trouble with his parents so I really want to help him, or I may never see him again)

Edit: The kids 9 and were good friends. His Xbox will be taken away if he can't get his cash back.

How would someone "scam" someone for Microsoft Points? Did your friend give them his personal information or something?

Well he went on their "clan" site and put some of his info and got his acount hacked. (He is 9, so he didn't think it through)

1. Your friend is severly lacking intelligence to fall for a scam on Xbox Live of all things. I mean, how the hell did it even happen!?
EDIT: Ok, He's 9, that explains that.
2. Email Microsoft.

What? What kind of scammer tells their victim that they are about to be scammed?
Well he gave some of his info and they hacked him. They are threating me but they can only really scam so I'm not worried. (My friend is 9 and plays COD 4 so he isn't all that clever, plus he though they wanted him to join thier clan)

Wait... if they bought something from his account then surely it would go to his account, when he signs in he would just have all the stuff they bought all he has to do is download it again and he would get what they bought... quite stupid scammers.

EDIT: Thats why I tell clans to go screw, I have friends and I am good I dont need them. :D

And this is why parents shouldn't let thier children play on-line without thier personal involvement also. And can't use the excuse of going behind thier back because that's what parental controls are for. Well, some parents just don't like to face the facts of life till it's too late. Do hope the best for them though with these scammers.

You're good friends with a nine year old?

Ah, using his money to change the name... Hmm, not quite as stupid as I first thought...

Firstly: If he's 9, why is he playing COD4, a 15/16+ certificate game?
Second: Isn't there a parental control that prevents children from seeing details that could result in scams/fraud like this? If so, why wasn't it turned on?
Third: The official Xbox site has a page for contacting Microsoft Support (Link [http://support.xbox.com/support/en/us/xbox360/contactus.aspx?WT.svl=nav]).

He grows on you....
See, now that just made you sound even creepier.
Yeah, I thought I was going to be the only one to point out the elephant in the room.

Now, I don't know why, but I really feel bad for this kid. Stricter parental surveilance was probably what he needed.

Gave them what kind of info? Right now it sounds like it's their own fault. All they can do is ask the credit card be removed from the account at this point.
