The cake is a lie was my first internet meme and i hated it. The others i can tolerate and say jokingly every once in a while.

Oh yeah, people definitely use it to cover up their lack of skill/luck ("It wasn't my fault, it was lag!"), I'm just pointing out that it isn't always true.

my favorite is when they cheat and loss then claim you cheated.

When I was playing Call of Duty 2 for my PC we always had one guy every once in a while spam the commands so you'll hear

"Move in! Movie in! Move in! Move in!Movie in! Movie in! Movie in! ........" It's annoying as hell! Also due to the fact that some servers don't have enough admins the guy doesn't get kicked! Try spending time with that and try not to shoot yourself!!!!

Actually, Navi never really bothered me much.

It's not the phrase that bug me the most, but the frequency at which something is said. To prove my point, if a scout only said 'need a dispenser here' once a game, I wouldn't even notice, but with those scripts, it makes it one of my most hated phrases on the internets.

no it wasn't lag! it cant be a magical lagfest in only you house because the lag fairy didn't rape you freaking' house! if you get shot in the face by a shotgun you got beat!

I don't like being contradicktory but what if you have the shotgun and they shoot you left pinky toe once with a 9mm....................seriosly.................... my foot was shot, and I died

My personal gripe is when people complain about aimbots. I can't stand the ones who can't distinguish actual skill from blatant cheating.
