Hey there!

I've been lurking around here for a while now (mainly for Yahtzee) and have decided to take the plunge and delve into the community side of things.

So... about me I guess...

I'm a bi-national dwarf who likes travelling, hiking, photography, fencing and (of course) gaming, my favourite games include Dwarf Fortress(unsurprisingly) The Elder Scrolls Series and the Total War series.

And yeah thats enough I guess, just saying, hi;)

Stanley.
Where do you stand on Stanley?
Your answer to this is the most important thing you will ever say, so choose wisely.

Welcome to the Escapist; I strongly advise reading the rules. New members very commonly get in trouble for low-content posts. A good rule of thumb is having at least one complete sentence of text in every post you make.

(I'm also vaguely amused that three out of four replies in this thread have MLP avatars.)

Hello! If you don't mind me asking, what's a binational dwarf? The binational part is throwing me off. As others have said, avoid the basement & read the rules. We have a very good Scary Thread (think it's still going) which is worth checking out.

Your already off to a great start for having a good Avatar. Hello and welcome to one of the few internet forums where the mods pay attention and you can express your opinions without getting trolled. Enjoy and stay away from the Scary Thread and the Basement.

Im thinking you should of stayed to lurking. Alot of people on here that will test your patience and expect to get a dumb message at least once a month. When that happens, ignore it and move on. There are a ton of people on here that will correct your spelling and also say your opinion is worthless, you have been warned.
^ like THIS guy...your typical happy user!

Im one of those people that like to warn others of the dangers involved. Always easy to get a warning on here for something you did. Wasn't aware of how easy it was until I got one for getting into a harmless argument with someone. The sunshine and rainbows approach is not for me.
well thats the itnernet for you

-people are stupid/ unreasonable
-there is always somone willing to tear apart what you like
-there are alwasy thing that make you want to facepalm
-people get confused about what it is to have an "opinion'
-people are obsessive and will nitpick and hate and spew bile like its the biggest thing ever

you work around this and its all good

for some reason theres somthing about scary stores about games (such as the creepy pasta one and the fallout 2 one) that...well creep me out more than anything, probably because I play games and so there is always that slightly "creepy" element to them (Is the fallout 2 one true?)

I don't know, but I hope it is, I'm looking for and old copy of fallout 2 just to try it because it sounds so freaking awesome, though I should probably play Fallout 1 before, to see if that vault dweller part is true, which is quite frankly the less believable part of the story.

A Dwarf who is both English and American ;)

This basement intrigues me, my Dwarfishness naturally calls me towards it...

EDIT: - What Fallout 2 creepypasta?

I've already put the link to the thread but here it is again http://www.escapistmagazine.com/forums/read/18.211546-The-scary-thread, and as Vault already pointed out it is a good idea to read by yourself in the dark, I personally prefer reading it around 12 AM when I know nobody will bother me, enjoy.
