Second, Power Stone.
One of the most fun fighters ever.

I'm making some user reviews here - and they are all of those. Platypus, Machinarium, Cortex Command, Freedom Force, Shattered Union, Sheep Dog 'n Wolf... the list goes on and on and on.

And yes, i have played Ghost Master. Fun times.

There was an old PS1 platformer I had called Heart Of Darkness, which was bloody awesome, and I used to replay the start of it over and over (no memory card). Also an old underrated N64 game I loved was Holy Magic Century (Quest 64 in the states), which was an awesome RPG.

Obscure 1 and 2 for the ps2. It's survival horror co-op. You need to go online to find the first one, but you can find the second one at wal-mart for around 20 bucks.

Dark Cloud (Dark Chronicle) and Dark Chronicle 2. Good times, good times.
Rogue Galaxy is underappreciated to, even though some of the names in the game sounded pretty ridiculous like Ilzarbella or Drigellums (if you noticed, yes I do love Level 5 games).

Off topic: Just because Englisch isn't your first language, doesn't mean you shouldn't be able write it. I'm Belgian. In Belgium (or Flanders at least), children are taught to speak and write Dutch and French. In high school, you're taught Englisch, German, possibly Spanisch and Latin in my case. Englisch isn't hard to speak or write at all in my opinion, especially when it's compared to Latin. What baffles me the most is how you didn't even use correct punctuation. A sentence ends in either a period, a question mark, or exclamation mark. A sentence also begins with a capital letter and you put a colon in front of quotation marks.
/end rant

I'm sorry, but I had to bring that up. When I see a post like that, my OCD rage ensues.

Full Spectrum Warrior. Never played an army game quite like it. You'll love it if you hate dealing with people, but also hate stupid a.i.

Oh Galactic Civilizations is great times not sure how obscure though. You can still pick it up at Wal-Mart for $10. I cant think of another game where you could play as an evil race of intergalactic ground squirrels.

Okage for the PS2
it is a silly and fun RPG for the PS2 with quirky characters and amusing dialog. I just wish more people have played it. You can usually find it used for something like, 8$

Phantom Crash for the Xbox and S.L.A.I: Steel Lancer Arena International for the PS2
These games are somewhat sister games, as S.L.A.I. isn't a direct sequel to Phantom Crash but does take place later on in the future. However, Phantom Crash is one of those Xbox games that can't be played properly on the 360 as of yet. These games consist of building your own mecha and customizing parts for arena combat. It's sort of Metabots meets Mechwarrior/Battletech. The in-game battles are fun enough, though my favorite thing is when I get to fight other people.

Secret of Evermore for the SNES
Now, this is not a equal to Secret of Mana, but the mechanics are pretty similar. It's an action RPG in the sense that all games are real-time combat. It's just you and your dog fighting creatures in different periods of time. It can be pretty fun and challenging.

Kinetica
2001, PS2

Kinetica was futurist racing game, similar to to the style popularized by series like Wipeout and F-Zero. It's central gimmick was that rather then racing with traditional machines, the racers wore special suits that attached wheels to the ends of their arms and legs. This allowed them to perform stunts in a fashion similar to figure skating, while traveling at the ridiculously high speeds that are typical of the Genre. The suits also favored aerodynamics over modesty, resulting in the female racers wearing what looks like a thong, exposing their bottoms to both spectators and the player.

The game was from Sony's Santa Monica Studios, who would later be responsible for the God of War series (in fact, both GoW I and II would run on the same engine as Kinetica). I found a copy in a Gamestop Used Game Bargain Bin about 2 years ago. Ten bucks well spent.

I still stand loyaly by 'Skullmonkeys', a rather swept-under-the-rug game. I appreciate that it's rather tame by side-scrolling platformer standards of 1998, but like its predecessor 'The Neverhood' it boasts many positives to outway the negatives. An awesome lead character, intriguing levels and situations and silly humour (check out the Ma Bird). Its also hard as fudge, frustrating gimmicks and irritating foregrounds that constantly get in the way. Despite this, I love it to bits, it is my hidden gem.

I'm going to assume Englisch is spelled with a 'ch' at the end in Belgium. Right? Because otherwise I am missing an opportunity to dog you out. And that would make my lazy-punctuating ass sad. :,(
