On graphics alone the newest unreal already looks better...

Well, I too have to say I'm not that impressed with the graphics (although it does look quite nice), but there's more to the engine being 'best in the world' than what it looks like, surely (bear with me here) - there's the memory and processing overheads, and ease of use for developers too... not saying it can't fail at that stuff

I hate the dubbing. To the point that I'm unable to watch this.

I don't know why, but I keep forgetting that Kojima can't speak English. The dubbing bothered me too, but I think it sort of captured his whimsical side [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P2ZFA4me4iw] well.

This guy's engine, well I'm sure it will look nice and require a 25 minute install before the game starts so they can use all that super awesome uncompressed sound and textures! Can't wait to pop it in my system so I can start waiting through a bunch of cutscenes to play 10 seconds of the game before it starts running some of that cutting edge full motion video footage everyone loves.

Please please PLEASE tell me this is a trend towards actual colorful, stylized 3D where not everything looks the same because they're aiming for "realism"

That's no dubbing, Kojima is so awesome that when he speaks his perfect english his lips don't sync with his speech.

They should've used Solid Snake's voice from the first game for this. That would work

No doubt there is more to it. But how it looks is the first thing customers see naturally. And it cant be "the BEST in the world" if it doesn't look the best.

While the new engine looks nice and is good news, the thing I'm more interested in that they covered in the pre-e3 video is the Transfarring technology(I still can't wrap my head around how stupid that sounds).
