I bought the game a few weeks ago and only just decided to start playing.

I don't know why or what about it.... but... I just find it tedious and ugly.

I like the combat a little more than other rpg's like dragon age which was a massive cluster fuck.

But all that said... I just don't seem to find it fun... challenging or anything I haven't already played in one way or another.

what do you guys think of it?

Well thats your opinion, we're not gonna hold a gun to your head and make you like anything around here.

I would say play for a bit longer as all Bethesda games are tedious and slow in the beginning.

The game is fun, but it's not perfect. No game is. I've had a great time on it, exploring all the funny little nooks and crannies in the world, hidden secret and epic lulz. The time when I ran into an encounter where a group of hunters had caged a wolf, and I kill 'em, then let the wolf go, and the thing just looks at me, then runs off. Or the time that I went deep into a bandit cave, and released the saber toothed tigers that they had caged in there, then looting the bodies.

And the time when I entered some random hole in the bloody ground (Literally) and ended up in some kind of psycho's murder home? Yeah, freaking creepy. Or the time when I was exploring the ice floes, and I entered a weird crack in the ice wall, and stumbled upon a small room full of cages, and a frost atronach. Then, after I had left, three frost atronachs are running at me! Holy crap! Or the time when I was almost dead, surrounded by Forsworn and Hagravens, when some random dude just runs over and starts to murder them all. What awesome randomness.

Fun game. Not perfect. But, fun. Mods will make it much, much better, but I don't know how to mod games...Too confusing for me. So, I'll just stick with the vanilla. Your choice though, mate.

To borrow a line from a certain individual, Skyrim is indeed slow in the beginning. It'll get better later, but to be perfectly honest, I don't find Skyrim as amazing as everyone keeps claiming. The graphics aren't at all as good as I was hoping(not even on PC) because in my honest opinion, games like Uncharted 3 and Saints Row: The Third, look a billion times better than Skyrim does.

Also, I prefer the combat system in Dragon Age: Origins over the one in Skyrim.

The emboldened part, what you found is actually the Winterhold Jail.

I'm making the mistake of forgetting to be strictly good or evil and just taking every single quest onwards. This and the fact my house is cluttered are the only two major concerns. I think a lot of the fun comes from smaller concepts and characters. Just go 'Sploring!

I regret it. I knew that I will like it, But then my hopes were dashed by spiders and useless Noclip.

Well, if you can trade it via Steam I'll take it off of your hands, poor college kid would love Skyrim.

It's all opinions, if you don't like it, well, oops. If it's just not you're cup of tea, there's nothing our opinions can really do about it. I had fun the hour or so I got to play it on a friends computer, with the exception of trying to kill that stupid vampire lord at level 3.
