Wondering if there's any fellow Escapists who like to hit the trails from time to time. Where do you go? Favorite trails?

So far, my most enjoyable (albeit brief) hike was the Alum Cave trail on Mount Le Cante, TN.

Well, here in my city we have a large urban park called the Edmonton River Valley. I go there a lot in the summer to walk, although I don't think that counts as hiking.

As for hiking, I love hiking in Switzerland. Whenever I go there, I go to atleast 3-4 mountains. It's always so breathtaking.

I haven't been hiking in years. I kind of realized that I enjoyed the company rather than the activity itself.

I haven't been hiking or backpacking in a long time... in fact, I don't even remember the last place I went. Funny, because I live in Tennessee and it's great for hiking.

Oh pretty much any place that has lots of green. Smell the fresh air, hear the earth crunching below your feet & knowing it isn't food wrappers, snapping pictures, mistaking the sound of far-off traffic for waterfalls.

I too enjoy the company, guess thats why I still do it from time to time XD.

My entire city is surrounded by mountains, so being from here sort of automatically makes you a mountain climber. So I go hiking in the mountains now and then, if someone is with me. Never alone, thats just boring...

I love hiking. I live close to a bunch of mountains so I like to go hiking around there.

I wish I lived closer to some better hiking trails. Or at least some with nicer views as seen here [http://anil.recoil.org/gallery/images/c2k6-18-large.jpg]

I hike around my area on a very odd occasion. Glen Rock (short drive) or Girraween (long drive)
