So escapistsusutusutss what are some hilarious game pranks you guys have done?
When my little brother started playing wow me and my older brother put his hearthstone and all of his gear into the bank then brought him to the Alterac Mountains and changed all of his action bars to a macro that yells
"I ARE SO COLD!!!"
So. Funny.

We once had a lan, And this kid turned up who we didnt really like (he was odd) so we told him we had another team next door, And watched him go next door, knock on the door, to be told by the neighbour he'd just fallen for a practical joke, Then come back.

Trust me, Lol's abounded.

Something fun to do in Halo 3 whenever I'm bored.

Go into any matchmaking game where you have a team. After the round starts, follow a random person on your team. Shoot at them. Make sure you don't kill them. Once they're close to death, leave them alone till their shield is back up, then shoot again. Eventually, they'll get pissed off and kill you. As soon as the option is available, kick them from the game for TKing you. Rinse and repeat on your other teammates till the end of the round.

This is surprisingly hilarious. I've actually gotten rid of my entire team once. I also got some very angry messages that just added to the hilarity.

And I was just wondering why Halo 3 gets a bad wrap on xbox live...

Heh, yea that post of mine makes me out to be the problem, doesn't it? I just got quite bored with it one day and decided to have an experiment.

On the bright side, I've not played halo in, at the very least, 3 months.

A "friend" of mine left to do something in a Halo 3 custom map, and they were a mongoose. So, I put a trip mine right in front of them. As soon as they came back and moved, it went off. They did a double backflip, and got stuck between a wall and a shield door. Then I shouted, "and it's good!"

*sigh* I miss those times.

Not the problem, but part of it... Boredom is usually the biggest excuse for youtube syndrome too...

The time I spawned Jet Cheetah repeatedly in LBP, when my friend was trying to build a level. He got pretty pissed.

007 Nightfire. Skyrail map, stock up on laser tripbombs, preferably CTF mode. Set up the top of your base with an array of tripbombs. Climb the roof, and watch the fun begin.

At my grandparents house, we have a copy of Morrowind: GOTY installed. My cousins frequently visit, and they always play it when over there. So, I used the construction set to make an inescapable place called "Chamber of Imprisonment", and placed their files in it (Making sure to get rid of all their items first, save for a pair of pants and a light) =) Good times.

The fact that I'm looking at Caramel Dansen (or whatever it's called) while browsing the Escapist... Well, it disgusts me.

Anyway, I'd say, one time when my brother was playing Oblivion. He went to use the bathroom, and I took over, going into his house and selling anything valuable he stored there. Then I forgot to tell him until after he'd saved.

Yeah, that was kind of a dick move on my part.

My brother was learning to play Microsoft Combat Flight Simulator, asking me different questions about the controls and what not as he's flying missions. I waited until he'd met his objectives and was headed back to the airfield to complete his mission, then told him to hit the "b" key three times in rapid succession, which he did.

This is the command to bail out and ends the mission in failure.

Playing JK 2 online and my clanmate says "type /disco in the console to turn your screen into a disco".
Several people immediately left the server.

Waaaaay back in the day, I beta-tested an MMO called The Realm (it was originally made by Sierra, but now I think another company owns it). Every now and then, people who'd been playing for a while (myself included) would start conversations on the public chat channel about things that didn't exist in-game, just to mess with the newbies' heads.

We'd say stuff like "How do I get the elf in the jewelry shop to help me?" (there were no elves in the game, nor was there a jewelry shop) or "Hey, this treasure map led me to the beach, but I can't find the treasure!" (there were no treasure maps, nor was there a beach, nor was there any treasure). We got in trouble after a while and had to stop, but it was fun while it lasted. ;)

Does acting (horribaly I might add) like a new player on MW2 then annihilating the next round count? My last line was:"Oh a tactical nuke? Is that good? Do I want that? I guess I'll use it""
