Is "Orange" named after the colour or the fruit?????

Well, duh, they are both named after the mobile service provider. I mean, come on, it's obvious.

Seriously, if I had to guess, I'd say the fruit was named after the colour. Can anybody enlighten us on the matter?

And a better question - who called pineapples pineapples? It doesn't even look like an apple, nor taste or behave like one.

I'd say this definitely is relevant.
