I was wanting to show a friend the awesome layout of "The Escapist" Digital Magazine...

You know with the kewl graphics and the next button that takes you page by page through the mag...

Has that gone away... I cannot seem to get to it... all I get is the webpage style...

It used multiple images per page aligned together, with the text laid on top of the images. Also, older issues still offer the PDF file you can download and enjoy.

It's a longshot with sites using images, but try using the Wayback Machine [http://www.archive.org/index.php]. Just type the url of the site and check if there are older backups of it.
