I've been wondering, does anybody else do this?
I'm alternating playing Fallout 3, Oblivion, Bioshock, and Red Faction Guerilla, switching whenever I get bored or stuck, and all the while occasionally checking here, and my brother has just commented on how crazy it is, and how the hell I can switch between the different playstyles, remember what I'm supposed to be doing, and still keep up conversation on here.
Now I type it down, it does seem crazy...

yes, I generally do that, except for the fact that most of the games are very similar like everything in the orange box, or I play them so much there just isn't anything to remember, like little big planet.

I do it all the time. I have switched between Gears of War 2, Team Fortress 2 and the new XBLA gameLimbo today. I am also currently downloading SimCity 4 as it's cheap and I remember liking it a while back when I saw it around a friends.

The only thing that usually gets irritating when switching between games is when the two games are very similar but change one or two controls, otherwise really different games are easy to switch between.

I do that, but not with games, with manga books. When it comes to games I'm monogamous.

Oh god I hate that, I just got killed a minute ago because I forgot RB doesn't switch weapons in Fallout...

That's typically how I play games.

If I get bored with one, I'll have at least 3 others I can turn to.

I do it all the time. On a day off, I go from Team Fortress 2 on the PC, to Little Big Planet on the PS3, to Rome Total War on the PC, to Bad Company 2 on the 360, to Fallout 1 on the PC, to one of the Timesplitters games on either the PS2, xbox, or Gamecube, and to Mass Effect 2 on the PC. I may sprinkle some Fallout 3/Oblivion in there as well.

But yeah, I am awesome.

Depends. If I'm working through a single player game for the first time, I often will only play it. Unless it's a very long game, or I get stuck, or it just loses my interest. For example I've been switching between Mirror's Edge, STALKER:CoP, Cryostasis, and Crysis: Warhead. But now I have SC2, and that will definitely take up my time for a while.

I also don't get very long play sessions these days so I'm often only playing one game on any given day, but if I happen to have a whole afternoon or something to game then I do switch after a few hours.

I'm in the middle of playing Harry Potter LEGO, talking on here, reading TVTropes and drawing a comic. My other current games include Fallout 3, Mass Effect (I'm doing a full playthrough) and Dragon Age: Origins. I am also alternating between reading TVTropes and watching Doctor Who or various movies (Jumanji, National Treasure, next is Pirates of the Caribbean).

Basically I have a very active brain and if I don't get a certain amount of stimulus in a day then I can't sleep, and since I'm working 11 hours a day at some incredibly mundane and boring jobs I'm not getting anywhere near the level of stimulation I need to be able to relax at the end of the day, so I'm cramming more and more into the few hours of downtime I have, hoping to calm down my coginitive functions. It's working quite nicely apart from the occasional night where I overdo one or the other and accidentally stay up too late.

I don't do that very often, but it's not exactly easy to get confused. Currently I'm switching between Mafia and SC: Conviction.

I started with Conviction, but I can't play the co-op because of a general protection fault (likely from the last patch, and this hasn't been fixed despite people complaining of it since MAY), and the singleplayer is so poorly optimised graphically that it still snags on lag despite my turning every setting off.

Oh, and the game forces mouse smoothing so it feelings like I'm dragging the crosshairs with a fishing rod across the screen; and that's in spite of me going into the config files and manually increasing the sensitivity 10-fold.

It's like a check list of what not to do in a console -> PC port.

I often have about 15 different threads/groups open on this site at once, but I don't usually do it with games. I find that there's always enough in the game I'm playing to keep me entertained without a break.

I do it but i cant remember worth a damn about the game.
Example:
I switched from Bioshock to Mirrors Edge to Assassins Creed 2 (finished it)
went to online play of MW2 for a week went back to Bioshock and had no idea what it was about..
Haven't tried finishing either Mirrors Edge or Bioshock since I did this... :/ ehh
